The first point is our equal concentration on the genetics of our sires and does. Our primary focus is to develop an animal that has consistent characteristics. We concentrate on the muscle, size and frame of the breeded animal. Our does have good milk capacity, a strong mothering instinct and the production of multiple kids. Our bucks not only achieve these goals, but they produce offspring that are better than the buck himself!

Secondly, the Bethlehem Boer Goat Ranch developed a strong core of bucks called our "Trilogy". The Trilogy consists of Tarzan, Vlek & Snoopy. The genetics from the sires are the foundation of the XG Brand. These genetics are selected because they "throw true" when creating their offspring. The combination of these phenotypes, physical characteristics, and genotypes, genetic make-up, are the core of the XG Brand. The Trilogy plus our top quality does breed this superior generation.

And finally, we at the Bethlehem Boer Goat Ranch build off of our Trilogy to create better genetics. We have devised a distinct breeding program developed over the years using Tarzan, Vlek & Snoopy along with different combinations of that animal. These genetics are the latest South African genetics to come to the U.S. Our main bucks are live imports from Australia ... first generation South African genetics.

With these genetics, we are producing a semen program to breed back to the original sires.
